Description

This is a small town house located in Dean Street, Liskeard, dating from the early 19th century. The front of the building is clad in painted slate hanging over a masonry base, topped with an asbestos slate roof. A tall rendered chimney stack is on the left side, with a brick stack at the rear right. The house has a double-depth plan, including a rear wing. It is two storeys high with a two-window front. The windows are mid-to-late 19th century four-pane sash windows with horns. The off-centre doorway has an open pediment supported by double brackets, a reeded lozenge in the frieze, and a ball decoration to the cornice. The door itself is six-panelled with glazed upper panels, and has 20th-century door furniture. The interior was not inspected at the time of listing.
