Description

The Market Cross in Grampound is a 15th-century structure made of granite. It consists of the base and shaft of a cross, which is set on a large octagonal plinth that has two steps. The base is also octagonal and features cushion stops. The shaft is octagonal, tapered, and approximately 4 metres high, adorned with pyramid stops. At the top of the shaft, there is a collar that includes a fleuron frieze.
