Description

The Harbour Office, dating from the early to mid-19th century, is constructed of granite and has a slate roof with gable ends. The gable facing the harbour features shaped barge boards. The roof is topped by a late-19th century gabled clock tower. The front elevation facing Fore Street is stuccoed on the first floor and contains three sash windows without glazing bars. A central recessed doorway is topped by a rectangular fanlight. The building is included on the list for group value, along with other listed buildings on North Cliff which overlook the harbour.
