Description

These are a row of early 19th-century buildings on Duck Street, originally listed together with properties in Abbey Place. The buildings are constructed from granite rubble and are two storeys high. They have four sash windows, some of which retain glazing bars. There are three plain doorways, now fitted with modern glazed doors. The roofs are slate-covered with gable ends. The buildings are included on the list for their group value, together with numbers 9 and a group of stores facing them. The listing was amended to specifically note number 4 and its date of listing as April 8, 1970.
