Description

This is a headstone dated 1787, located 11 metres to the west of the west tower of the Church of St Petroc in Padstow. It commemorates Nancy, the daughter of Henry and Nancy Mitchell, who died in 1787, and Thomas, their son, who also died in 1787. The headstone is made of slate and features a shouldered round head. The inscriptions are done in upper and lower case lettering in script with serifs.
