Description
The Geach monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 4 metres northeast of the north aisle of the Church of St Stephen. It dates from the 18th century and is made of granite, featuring a slate inscription tablet. The tomb has a rectangular shape on a plinth with pilasters and a flat top that has a moulded edge. On the top, there is a rebated slate inscription tablet with a carved border and well-executed lettering, commemorating Thomas Geach, who died in 1786, along with other family members.
