Description

The Gale monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 meters south of the Lee monument and south of the chancel of the Church of St. Thomas. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features two recessed panels on each side and is topped with a moulded capstone.
