SW 63 NE SITHNEY GWAVAS

8/319 Piggery at approximately 25 metres south east of Gwavas Farmhouse 5.11.74 GV II

Piggery. Circa mid - late C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roof with gable end on the left and hipped end on the right. Plan: Long rectangular plan, probably divided into 6 pens plus store on the right. At the left-hand end is a flight of stone steps to give access to roof space presumably used for straw storage. Exterior: single storey. Long low south-west front with 3 pairs of doorways and window and doorway on the right. Old ledged doors. Interior: Not inspected.
