Description
This is a piggery located approximately 25 meters southeast of Gwavas Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof, which has a gable end on the left and a hipped end on the right. The building has a long rectangular plan, likely divided into six pens, with a store on the right side. At the left end, there is a flight of stone steps leading to the roof space, which was presumably used for straw storage. The exterior is single storey with a long, low southwest front that includes three pairs of doorways, along with a window and doorway on the right, all featuring old ledged doors. The interior has not been inspected.
