Description

This is an 18th-century building located on Chapel Street in Penzance. It is constructed of painted brickwork with a single string course, and features quoins. The building has a central triangular pediment with a lunette above, and a steep slate roof with gable ends, finished with a modillion eaves cornice. The two-storey facade has three sash windows per floor, each with margin lights and glazing bars, with keyblocks above the ground floor openings. A central fielded panel door is topped with a rectangular fanlight. Crownley forms a group with numbers 15 to 18 (inclusive) and the adjacent Methodist Church.
