Description

Trevelyan House is a late 18th century building located at No 16 Chapel Street in Penzance. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of whitened brick with granite quoins. The facade features three sash windows, with the outer windows being three-light. The central entrance has a door with a cornice supported by consoles and a fanlight above. The door is a six fielded panelled design with panelled reveals. The building has an eaves cornice and a slate hipped roof with an overhanging eaves. Trevelyan House is part of a group that includes Nos 15 to 18 and the Methodist Church.
