Description

About 100 metres of quay wall is located on the east side of Gweek Quay, constructed in the 18th century. The wall is made from vertically set elvan and killas rubble, topped with dressed granite copings. It serves as a retaining wall for the east side of the quay and features loading bays that have been filled in. The quay wall continues further south, but that section has been rebuilt and is not considered of special interest.
