Description

No. 44 St Thomas Hill is a small town house, likely built in the late 18th century. It features a rendered exterior on rubble and has a steep rag slate roof with a brick stack on the left side. The house has an L-shaped plan that includes a rear wing on the right. It stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical front that has three windows. The upper windows are old 12-pane, 2-light casements, while the lower windows are late 19th-century, six-pane horned sashes. A central wooden porch with a felt roof has a four-centred arched doorway, which contains a four-panel door with later glazed top panels. The interior has not been inspected.
