Outbuilding 10 Metres To North West Of Tredruston Farmhouse

This outbuilding, located 10 metres northwest of Tredruston Farmhouse, is likely a former wash-house now used as a store. It dates from around the 1840s, probably built at the same time as the farmhouse. The structure is made of stone rubble and features a rag slate roof with gable ends and a brick stack on the left side.

The building has a rectangular plan with two rooms and a through passage. The left room, likely the wash-house, is heated by an end stack, while there is a partition on the right side of the passage. A small pig house is attached to the right gable end.

The exterior is single-storey and almost symmetrical, with a two-window front that includes a central plank door. To the left is a two-light casement window, and to the right is a shuttered two-light window.

Inside, there is a brick segmental arch leading to an open fireplace on the left, flanked by the remains of two boilers.
