Description
The lychgate at the north entrance to the churchyard of the Church of St Breock dates from the early 19th century and is constructed from local slate stone rubble. It serves as the south entrance to the churchyard and is unroofed. The structure features two stone rubble side walls with slate-topped seats on the inner sides and a very low central granite coffin rest. There is a flight of slate steps leading down to the churchyard on the south side. On the north side, there is a pair of 19th-century wrought iron gates, accompanied by an overthrow from the late 19th or early 20th century that includes a lantern.
