Description
The tomb chest of Charles Nickell is located to the north of the west end of the nave of the Church of St Breock. It dates from 1793 and commemorates Charles Nickell, the son of Charles and Sarah, who died in 1793, and his wife Catherine, who died in 1824. The chest is made of stone rubble and features a rectangular slate lid. The inscriptions are in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
