Description

This is a tomb chest, dating from 1740, located 20 metres north of the vestry of the Church of St Breock. It commemorates Anne Bate, who died in that same year. The chest is constructed from stone rubble and features a rectangular slate lid. The upper and lower case lettering with serifs forms a marginal inscription.
