CARN BREA TINCROFT ROAD SW 64 SE (north side, off) 5/163 Detached chimney approx. 7 metres north of pump engine house to Chappel's shaft of Old Cook's Kitchen Mine

GV II Detached chimney to former boiler house of pump engine to former copper and tin mine; now derelict. Probably early to mid C19. Uncoursed granite rubble. Tapered cylindrical form with very prominent moulded cornice; former brick upper stage missing. Forms part of prominent group with adjacent pump engine house and winding engine house to the east (q.v.).
