Description
This is a barn located about 100 metres west of St Enoder Rectory, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with granite quoins and brick dressings, topped with a rag slate roof featuring ridge tiles and gable ends. The barn has a rectangular plan, with stabling and shippons on the ground floor and a loft above. There is an attached cart shed at the left end.
The barn is two storeys high with a symmetrical front. The ground floor features a central cart entry flanked by single doors on either side, all of which have cambered brick arches with granite keystones. On the first floor, there is a tall central loading door, with smaller window openings on each side, also featuring cambered brick arches and granite keystones. The attached cart shed is single storey with a hipped roof and has a cart entrance with a timber lintel. The sides of the cart shed are blind, and the rear of the barn includes a central upper loading door, along with a door and window opening to the right on the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
