Description

This is a mid-19th century town house located on Castle Street, Liskeard. The front of the building is clad in asbestos slate hanging on a timber studwork frame. The roof is hipped and covered in asbestos slate, with brick end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan, and its symmetrical front features three windows per floor. The windows are modern replacements, designed to resemble original 12-pane sash windows with horns. The central doorway has a 20th-century door. The interior of the property has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the wider group value of the area.
