Description
No. 30 is a cottage located in The Square, Kilkhampton, dating from the early 19th century. The building is rendered and colourwashed, featuring a hipped slate roof at the right end and brick chimneys. It has a hipped end facing the street and is set back slightly from Nos. 31-34. The entrance is off-centre, with one renewed window on the ground floor and three windows on the first floor. The ground floor includes a timber bay window facing the street, which has a slate roof and 12 panes at the front, with three panes on each return. There is a small opening to the left of the bay. The first-floor window on the street side is a two-light timber casement with six panes per light. This cottage is included for its group value with Nos. 31-34 and other buildings in The Square. The interior and rear have not been inspected.
