Description
The watering place at Chacewater, located approximately 50 meters south of Nos 42 and 43, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from granite and killas and has a rectangular shape divided into two sumps. Access is provided from the west via wide granite steps. The side walls feature plain granite copings, while the taller retaining wall to the east is made of granite ashlar with a flat-topped coping. There is a 20th-century tap in the wall above the left sump and an open pipe above the right sump.
