Description

This sheep run, located about 100 metres northeast of Mennabroom Farmhouse, is likely from the 17th century or earlier. It features granite rubble drystone walls made of large blocks of granite, standing approximately 2 metres high. The walls create a passage entrance that opens up to a curved wall on one side and a rectangular enclosure on the other side. This structure was probably used as a lambing or shearing pen, constructed from moorstone cleared from the surrounding fields.
