Description

The Coastguard's Lookout is an early 20th-century lookout hut located in Newquay. It is rendered, likely built from brick, and features a rendered roof. The hut has a small octagonal shape with an octagonal hipped roof topped with a finial. The front of the structure includes a pointed arched doorway, flanked by two window openings on either side. The three rear sides have blind windows, and all openings are unglazed. This lookout hut serves as a prominent landmark on the headland.
