Description

WARLEGGAN SX 16 NE 9/168 Goose houses about 10 metres north - west of Welltown Farmhouse GV II Goose houses. Probably C18. The goose houses are built into a drystone granite rubble wall which is a retaining wall for the field above. There are 2 recesses, each about one metre high, with a flat granite lintel. The goose houses are across the yard from Welltown Farmhouse; geese would have been used as watchdogs.
