Description
The goose houses, likely dating from the 18th century, are located about 10 metres northwest of Welltown Farmhouse in Warleggan. They are built into a drystone granite rubble wall that serves as a retaining wall for the field above. There are two recesses, each approximately one metre high, featuring a flat granite lintel. Positioned across the yard from Welltown Farmhouse, these goose houses would have been used for keeping geese, which served as watchdogs.
