Description

Mithian Cottage is a small house built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features coursed dressed killas and has granite lintels above the ground floor openings. The roof is thatched and has external stacks with brick chimneys at both gable ends. The building has a two-room plan with a central entrance and staircase, and there is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high with a symmetrical two-window south front and a central doorway, which has a 20th-century four-panel door. The windows are 20th-century two-pane, two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
