Description
This is a headstone located approximately 15 meters south of the Church of Saint Sithney. It dates from the early 19th century and commemorates Nicholas Reed, who died in 1841 at the age of 52, his wife Amy Tonkin, who died in 1827 at the age of 37, and their son Francis Reed, who died in 1842 at the age of 17. The headstone is made of dressed granite and features a monolithic slab with a shaped and round head. It also includes a similar shaped incised slate monolith insert, which was loose at the time of the survey in 1986.
