Description

The Cornish cross, located approximately 20 metres south of the tower of the former Church of St Illogan, is a medieval structure made of dressed granite. It is a Vheelhead type cross, rectangular in section, and stands about 2 metres high. The shaft features chamfered corners and has a raised circular panel on each face. The west side displays a Latin cross, while the east side features a Greek cross.
