Description
This is a mounting block located on the pavement near the north end of the churchyard wall in Churchtown, Illogan. Likely dating from the 19th century, it is made of granite and features a monolith that has been cut to create four steps on the north side. The mounting block does not appear to be directly associated with any specific building in the immediate area, although it is situated close to the center of the village.
