Description
The barn and stables located approximately 15 meters northwest of Bollogas Farmhouse date from the early to mid-19th century and the late 19th century. The barn features painted rubble walls with some slate hanging, while the later stables are constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings. The barn has a grouted scantle slate hipped roof, and the stables have a corrugated asbestos roof.
The barn is rectangular in shape and has a central first floor with opposing loading and winnowing doorways. The later 19th-century stables are set back at an angle on the right-hand end, and there is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The exterior consists of a two-storey barn and single-storey stables with an irregular east front. The barn's front features a wide wagon doorway, spanned by timber lintels, located to the left of the center, flanked by stable doorways and two pairs of doors under slate hanging on the right. The first floor has a central loading doorway, a window opening to the left with a probably original two-light half-shuttered window, and a window with a loading hatch to the right. The barn also has old wedged doors. The stables have slatted doors, and the later stables on the right have a symmetrical front with two windows and a central doorway, featuring original doors and windows. The interior has not been inspected.
