Description
Nos 10 and 11 High Street are a pair of houses dating from around the mid-19th century. They are constructed from killas rubble and feature cambered elvan arches with projecting keystones. No. 10 has a hip asbestos roof with a brick chimney on the left side wall, while No. 11 has a slurried scantle slate roof with a brick chimney over the party wall on the left and a gable end on the right. Each house has a one-room plan with a passage to one side and is two rooms deep, standing two storeys tall. They have a regular four-window range with original 12-pane hornless sash windows. The entrance to each house is on the right, with a ground floor window to the left. No. 10 features a 20th-century door, while No. 11 has a four-panel door with later glazed top panels, both with overlights. The interiors have not been inspected. These houses are included for their group value.
