Description

The finger direction post, located at SW863483, dates from the late 19th to early 20th century and is made of cast iron. It features a plain round column with necking moulding, which is topped with a spirally fluted section and a large ball finial. The post has two arms with rounded ends and raised margins, each displaying a pointing hand along with the lettering reading "MITCHELL" and "TRESILLIAN."
