Description
The monument to the Uglow family is located about 2 meters east of the Church of St Marwenne. This chest tomb dates from the late 17th century and 18th century. It is made of freestone ashlar with slate lids. The tomb is a double chest type, set on a chamfered plinth. It features two slate lids that bear inscriptions commemorating Thomas Uglow, who was buried in 1663, and John Uglow, who died in 1789.
