Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb made of limestone, located approximately 12 meters southwest of the southwest corner of the Church of St. Giles in Uley. The tomb features a moulded top and base, with plain ends that include frieze and base moulds. There are raised elliptical inscription panels on the north and south sides, although the inscriptions are not legible. It is situated immediately south of the John Dimery tomb.
