Farm buildings including barn, carriage house and probable stable. Early and mid C19. Local rubble walls with oak lintels; rag slate roofs, hipped on the left, with many reused C17 crested clay ridge tiles; corrugated asbestos roof to stable. Long rectangular plan end on to a slope down to the left. 2-storey barn to left, stable to right and single-storey carriage house in between. Barn has 2 first-floor loading doorways, that on the right with a split door; ground floor with central doorway with 2 flanking windows; cross window on the left and smaller window with inward-opening 4-pane 2-light casement on the right plus doorway at far right with a tent-shaped arch of 1 piece of grown oak. Old ledged doors. Carriage house has 4 wide doorways with pairs of old ledged doors; 12-pane 2-light overlight to left-hand door and pigeon hole on its right. Stable has gable-ended front with roof sweeping lower on the right and doorway with old ledged doorway on the left. INTERIOR: original floors, partitions and roof structures where inspected and in the carriage house a c1900 mural of pencilled fashion plates by a former member of the Mudge family on a wooden partition.
