Description
Berry House is a detached town house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features incised stucco on rubble and has a bitumen-grouted rag slate half-hipped roof. The house has rendered end stacks with moulded cornices and a cast-iron ogee gutter. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys plus an attic, with a regular two-window range that includes wide openings. The original tripartite hornless sash window with glazing bars is located on the first floor to the right, while the other windows have been replaced with 20th-century designs just before the survey. The central entrance is at the left-hand end and is within a 20th-century conservatory, with an original 12-pane hornless sash window above on each floor. The interior has not been inspected.
