Description

The Davies tomb, located approximately 1 metre east of the chancel of the Church of St Erth, is a chest tomb from the 17th century. It commemorates William Davies, who died on 28th February 1690 at the age of 54. The tomb is made of granite ashlar and features a moulded granite lid with an incised slate insert. It has a rectangular shape, and the lid is adorned with an incised coat of arms at its head.
