Description

CRANTOCK SW 76 SE 4/34 Range of farm buildings about 30 - metres north west of Trevella Farmhouse GV II

Range of farm buildings, including shippons and barn with dovecot. C18, with some later alterations. Stone rubble and cob, roughcast. Scantle slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. The front left range has a hipped roof to front. Plan: The buildings form an overall L-plan, the main range with a barn extending to front left; at the front of this range is the dovecot. Exterior: 2 storeys, asymmetrical range. The front wing to left has hipped roof to front with square pigeon holes at upper level. At the inner side, door at ground floor and loading door above. In the angle to the main range there is an external concrete stair leading to an upper door. In the range to right there are ventilator doors and windows at ground and first floor. Interior: Not accessible.
