Description

The village well, located south of Well Cottage, is likely from the 17th century and constructed of slatestone rubble. It features a small well house made of stone rubble with a roughly pyramidal roof. Low stone rubble walls surround a small area in front of the well house, which includes a 20th-century stone rubble seat. The front of the well house is fitted with a plank door that has strap hinges. Inside the well house, there is a stone rubble sink.
