Description

Hepworths is a mid-19th century building located on the west side of Penzance Market Place. It is constructed of stucco and stands three storeys tall with three windows. The ground floor features a large modern shop front, while the upper levels are characterized by massive Corinthian half-columns and pilasters, along with a broken entablature and a balustraded parapet. The building has sash windows without glazing bars, and it includes cornices and consoles. Hepworths serves as a prominent end-piece in the view up Market Jew Street.
