Description

Love Lane Farmhouse is a cottage believed to date from the 17th century, although it has been significantly altered from its original form and appears to have been partly rebuilt in the 19th century. The building is constructed of colour-washed, plastered rubble and features a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three windows, which are wood casements with elliptical-headed fanlights above them. The doorway is framed by a granite lintel and jambs that are stop-chamfered, with the lintel carved with the initials GDE and the date 1675.
