Description

Alverton House is an early 19th-century building that includes an earlier wing. It is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof that is hipped and valleyed. The house has an L-shaped plan and a lattice work porch at the angle. It stands two storeys tall and has five windows, which are sash windows, some of which have glazing bars. Above the door, there is a large and irregular granite datestone that dates back to 1674.
