Description

This archway, located about 250 yards southeast of Ince Castle on the River Lynher, is part of a former sea-gate that is believed to date back to 1635. It is constructed from rubble and features a Tudor arch-headed opening, which is topped by a triangular panel and flanked by pyramidal pinnacles. The archway is depicted in old prints of Ince Castle.
