Description

The building is a mortuary located 15 meters north of the chancel of the Church of St Ivo, likely serving the churchyard. It dates from around the 1860s and features coursed granite on the south front, with stone rubble on the rear and side walls. The structure has large granite quoins and a slate roof on the south slope, while the north slope is covered with corrugated iron. The mortuary is a rectangular single room with a chamfered right-hand front corner. The south front includes a central plank door, framed by a reused chamfered granite lintel and jambs with run-out stops. Additionally, there is a reused moulded granite eaves cornice on the south side. The interior has not been inspected.
