Description

ST CLEER SX 26 NE 11/165 Pair of bridges about 100 metres - west of Rosecraddoc Manor GV II Pair of bridges. Probably mid-late C19. Slatestone rubble with stone dressings. Plan: There is a stream chanelled through an ornamental garden, with an upper and a lower bridge. The upper bridge has a single span, with a round arch with slatestone dressing; rubble parapet walls with rubble coping. The lower bridge also has a single span, with a rounded skew arch with stone dressing. Rubble parapet walls with granite coping and square terminal piers with pyramidal caps. Both bridges are about 10 metres span and about 3 metres wide. The bridges are part of the landscaped gardens of Rosecraddoc Manor.
