Description

1, 2 and 3 Waterloo is a terrace of houses and two identical cottages built after 1840 and before 1876. The buildings feature coursed dressed granite fronts, while the rest is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings. They have a grouted scantle slate roof with brick chimneys at the gable ends and over the cross party walls.

The layout includes a pair of one-room plan cottages on the left, each with entrance lobbies on their right, and a two-room plan house on the right with a central lobby entrance and staircase. There are later 19th-century lean-tos at the rear.

The exterior is two storeys high with a regular arrangement of windows on the south-west front, featuring a 2:2:2 pattern. The cottages have doorways beneath their right-hand windows, with the left-hand cottage having a window in its original doorway. The house has a symmetrical front with a central doorway. The doors are from the 20th century, while most of the windows are original twelve-pane hornless sashes, with three horned copies. The interior has not been inspected.
