Small house. Early C19. Killas rubble with granite lintels; fairly steep Delabole slate roof sweeping lower at rear; brick end stacks. Shallow double-depth plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 2-window front. Original 12-pane hornless sashes and central doorway with 4-panel door with top panels later glazed. INTERIOR retains most of its original carpentry and joinery features including moulded joists; 4-panel doors; some cupboard door; dogleg staircase with turned newel, swan-neck ramped handrail and stick balusters to top flight and roof structure with nailed and pegged collar trusses.
