Description

The bridge located to the east of Penrose Manor House is an estate road bridge built in 1846 for the Reverend John Rogers. It is constructed of killas rubble with granite dressings, specifically using arch stones cleaved at Wheal Penrose. The bridge features a single span with rusticated round arches on each side, a parapet string, and granite copings. Additionally, there are granite ashlar piers and end piers topped with granite caps.
