Description

The whim bearing walls, located approximately 150 metres north of Churchtown in St Breward, date from the early 19th century. These tapered stone rubble walls are battered on the outer face and were originally constructed to support a winding wheel, which has since been removed, for the Great Onslow Consols mine.
