Description
The farm building at Eglos Erme Farm dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of killas stone, featuring granite quoins and a slate roof. The building has a two-storey layout, with an animal house on the ground floor and a grain store above. The front has a central cart opening and single door openings near each end, all of which are quoined and topped with cambered brick arches. The roof is hipped. At the rear, there is a 20th-century lean-to extension made of corrugated iron, and a single-storey cartshed is located at the right end. Additionally, there is a 20th-century stable block attached at right angles to the front on the left, which encloses a strawyard. This building is included for its group value.
