GV II

Cart shed and adjoining, probably mangel house. Circa mid C19. Granite, elvan and Killas rubble with granite dressings. Corrugated asbestos roof with one hipped end over cart shed and grouted scantle slate roof with one half-hipped end over mangel house. Clay ridge tiles on all roofs. Plan: L-shaped plan. 3-bay open-fronted cartshed in the short arm of the L and long mangel house in the other arm of the L. The mangel house has 2 wide doorways to its front (south west) and 3 windows to the rear. C20 extension at rear of cartshed. Exterior: Single storey. Unaltered elevations except rear of cartshed which partly is obscured by C20 extension. Mangel house has south west front with 2 wide doorways, each with pair of old ledged doors. The cartshed has 3-bay open front with the front wall-plate carried on 2 granite monoliths. Interior: not inspected.
